Being in the Food & Beverage industry for 10 years, I have learned to adapt
to knowing what is good in the world.  As a young teenager, I was not able to
drink alcoholic beverages...obviously, however, my mother allowed me to
cook with them, and that slowly became my calling in life, to become a chef.

I got into wine through one of my culinary school professors, my beverage
identification professor.  Taking his class, I learned a tremendous amount
about wine, spirits, and beer.  After taking this class, I no longer considered
cooking my top priority.  I continued my wine education at the International
Sommelier Guild.  It wasn't long into my stay at the Guild that my passion
for wine was cemented.

If I were to sit down and think about what wine I enjoy the most, I would
have to say anything from Spain, Argentina, or Chile.  I love a good red more
than a white, but I will not object to any form of wine.  Looking at our brew
selection, I would say that I love a cold-crisp bottle of cider beer.  A bottle of
Strongbow or J.W. Honey Brown are where my indulgences lie.  And finally,
if I had to choose a spirit that I love, that would be a great glass of whiskey.
I'm not prone to a particular brand.  I like it neat, with a splash of coke, and
sometimes I relive those college days and "sip it" quickly.

With the new store, I don't really know where I will land.  If you see me
flying about, just stop me and say "hi", feel free to ask me any questions that
you may have.  With my experience in the industry, I have developed my
own quote, "I am an equal opportunity drinker, and an equal opportunity
eater"...I love food, I love drinks!!!

Cheers
